Price = (materials + consumables) × 1.3 + time × your hourly rate + 15–25% for fees/taxes. Beginners underprice 2–3× — count real hours.

Instagram/Pinterest for visuals, Etsy/local marketplaces, craft fairs. Daylight photos drive 50% of the sale.

Batching

One item — 3 hours; a batch of 10 — 1.5 h/pc: templates, batch finishing, single setup. Margin lives in batches.

Quality standard

Consistent dimensions, no chips, smooth finish. Non-salable rejects — 30–50% off or firewood. 'Handmade' ≠ 'crooked'.

Going legal

Regular sales = register as a sole proprietor (single tax group 2–3). Marketplaces — platform rules + revenue tax. Occasional sales differ, but the 'occasional' limit is low.
