Required documents
- ISO 11784/11785 microchip — implanted BEFORE the rabies vaccine
- Rabies vaccination — no older than 12 months, at least 21 days before
- International veterinary passport with vaccination records
- Form No.1 certificate from a state vet — within 5 days of departure (Ukraine)
- For the EU — rabies titer (FAVN) not required from Ukraine (listed country)
Rules vary between airlines and countries — book the pet spot officially and get written confirmation. Ukraine is on the EU list for simplified entry — but check transit country requirements.
