Carp cycle is 2 years (fingerling → 1–1.5 kg market). Pond survival — 60–80%, RAS 90%+. Feed is 50–60% of costs in intensive farming. Sell in autumn (live fish costs more) and include water/energy/labor in 'other'. Selling from water is cheaper than processing — count margin per kg, not per fish.
