Under the Civil Code of Ukraine the general warranty for construction works is 3 years from acceptance unless the contract/law sets longer. Some works have longer norms (waterproofing, roofing — often 5–10 years per specifications). Warranty covers defects in the contractor's works/materials, not wear or misuse. Keep hidden-works acts and photo reports — they are the evidence base for warranty claims.

The contractor warrants the quality of the construction works performed and sets a warranty period of 3 year(s) from the acceptance act date.

The warranty covers defects caused by the contractor (workmanship and materials installed). It does not cover damage from misuse, natural disasters or third-party works.

Upon discovering defects, the client notifies the contractor in writing; the contractor remedies them at its own cost within an agreed term.
