Feeding syrup

1:1 — spring, stimulates laying (thin, like nectar). 3:2 — autumn top-up before wintering. 2:1 — thick reserve. Water — boiled and cooled, never pour hot on syrup (HMF is toxic to bees). Feed at night to avoid robbing. Never feed during honey flow — honey will be adulterated.
