Cyberbullying

What it is

Systematic online harassment: insults, malicious messages, photo sharing, group exclusion, fake accounts. A one-off fight is conflict, not bullying.

First steps

Don't reply, don't delete: screenshots with dates, links, handles. Block the bully. Kids — tell an adult, don't 'endure it'.

Reporting

On the platform — report the content and account. At school — homeroom teacher/psychologist. Violence threats — police (criminal threat article).

For parents

Calm talk without 'it's your fault'. Set account privacy rules together. Monitoring without spying — shared screen agreements.

For schools

Anti-bullying program, clear complaint channel, response within 24–48h. In-class cyberbullying is the school's responsibility even 'after hours'.

Recovery

School/city psychologist for anxiety, school refusal, sleep changes. Peer support group. It passes — track the progress.
