Stages

  1. Identity/similarity search in the UKRNIIVI database — before filing, mandatory
  2. Choose Nice classes (45) — for the store's goods/services
  3. File the application (electronically — fee discount)
  4. Formal examination — 1–2 months
  5. Substantive examination — 12–18 months
  6. Publication, certificate fee payment
  7. Certificate — valid 10 years, renewable
Nice classes count:≈ 5,900 грн

Rough UKRNIIVI fees: filing ~₴4,000 (up to 3 classes) + ₴1,000 each next, certificate ~₴600, publication ~₴500–800/class — total ₴6–10k for a basic application; with an agent +$300–600. Term 18–24 months. Not to be confused with a marketplace 'brand' — Amazon Brand Registry needs a registered TM.
