Meter readings

Deadlines are in the supplier contract: usually the 1st–5th (water, gas), 25th–month end (electricity). Missed → billed 'by norm' (pricier) with next month's adjustment.

Supplier's personal account, app, chatbot, phone, paper slip. A photo of the meter quarterly — proof for disputes.

Pulse-output meters with modems transmit themselves. Some suppliers run AMR systems. If you have one — verify readings actually arrive (bill = meter).

Billed by per-person norm — usually above real usage. Water ~5–7 m³/person, gas by heating norm. A meter pays back in 1–2 years.

Verification intervals: water 4–6 yrs, gas 8, electricity 10–16. An expired meter — readings invalid, billed by norm. Verification by the supplier/licensed lab.

Bill ≠ meter — file a reconciliation request with a photo. The supplier may take control readings (2×/year unannounced). Refusing control → switch to norms.
