Class-2 wheat basis: moisture ≤14%, impurities ≤2%, gluten ≥25%. Discount: ~1% of price per % moisture over norm + elevator drying; ~0.5%/impurity %. Premium for 28%+ gluten — $3–7/t. Fusarium/toxins can make a batch unsellable. The elevator lab result is your reality — dispute only with an independent arbitration sample.
