Collectors
Debtor rights and response templates
Your rights
- A collector can't threaten, insult, call at night or third parties without consent
- You may demand debt documents in writing — 'acknowledge' nothing by phone
- The NBU regulates collection companies — a violation complaint is real
- A delinquent debt can be restructured — fix agreements in writing
Debt documents request
Please provide in writing: contract number, debt breakdown (principal/interest/penalties), proof of assignment (cession agreement). Without these documents I do not acknowledge the debt.
Refusal of phone contact
Please send all correspondence in writing to [address]/[email]. I forbid phone calls; further calls will be recorded as violations of the Consumer Protection Law.
Collector conduct complaint
I report violations: calls at [time] to third parties/threats/false information. Please investigate and report the result; a copy goes to the NBU.
Restructuring proposal
I propose restructuring: [amount]/month from [date]. Please stop penalty accrual during the schedule. Confirmation of agreement — in writing.
The main rule: no verbal agreements. Every contact — in writing or recorded; debt documents — before any payment agreement.
