- Awl + pricking iron / punch
- Waxed thread + 2 needles (saddle stitch)
- Leather contact cement
- Edge beveler + edge paint/dye
- Cutting mat + metal ruler
Veg-tan is best for beginners: stamps, dyes and holds shape. Chrome-tan is soft but won't stamp.
