Foundation type

Approximate logic: heaving soils/high water → deep slab or piles; heavy house (brick, 2 floors) on weak soil → strip below frost depth (~1.2m for most of Ukraine) or slab; light frame on good soil → shallow strip or piles. Exact type — only after geology: 2–3 boreholes cost ~15–30k, a foundation mistake — hundreds of thousands.
