Piping chain

  1. Boiler → safety group (3-bar valve, air vent, gauge)
  2. → expansion tank on return
  3. → circulation pump on return
  4. → manifold
  5. → radiators with valves
  6. → return to boiler
  7. Makeup feed with valve & check on cold line

Nuances

  • •Pump on return — cooler water, longer life
  • •Expansion tank ≈10% of system volume
  • •Isolation valves on each branch

This scheme is a learning/communication aid. A working boiler-room project (especially gas) needs a designer — hydraulic calc, chimney and norms.
