Delivery delay

Typical late penalty in carriage contracts: 0.1–1% of freight per day, capped at 5–20% (or no more than the freight itself). Under CCU art. 625 inflation + 3%/yr applies to delayed monetary obligations. Customs release delays follow a separate regime (customs fines). Claim first, then lawsuit: claim period usually 30 days.
