Green Card: guide

• • Buy in Ukraine before departure, not at the border
• • Policy for the whole trip, plus 1–2 spare days
• • Check VIN, plates, countries on the policy
• • Digital policy is valid — a printout is advisable

Green Card is mandatory car liability for driving your own car abroad (except countries with other systems). Terms: 15 days, 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 months — the policy must cover the ENTIRE trip. Buy only in Ukraine before departure — border policies cost more and cover less. Check: VIN, plates, term, destination countries on the policy (an error = invalid policy).
