Hunting farms
What they are
Estates licensed to organize hunting on their grounds. Territories are documented, game is counted, hunting is by voucher.
Booking
Process: request → confirm dates and species → voucher → briefing → hunt with a gamekeeper. In peak season (October boar, spring capercaillie) book 2–4 weeks ahead.
Pricing
Made of: voucher (organization, gamekeeper), harvest fee per species (boar, deer, roe — by trophy tables), lodging. A wounded animal often costs 50–100% of the trophy price.
Safety rules
Mandatory briefing: shooting sectors, target ID, no firing toward people/buildings, unloaded gun when moving. Violation = removal from the hunt.
Hunter's papers
For farm hunting: hunting license, gun permit (for own firearms), voucher. Foreigners — temporary gun import via the estate. All checked by the gamekeeper before going out.
Choosing an estate
Ask: are grounds legally assigned, season harvest stats, hunter reviews, is there a permanent gamekeeper service, real photos of blinds/stands — not only trophies.
