Pellet economics

1 m³ of dry sawdust (~250 kg at 10–12% moisture) gives ~0.23–0.25 t of pellets. Wet sawdust needs drying first — energy cost rises 30–50%. Cost per tonne: feedstock 30–40%, energy 30%, labor+packaging the rest. Bark pellets are cheaper than clean wood — but ash >2% ruins client boilers. Real margin starts at 100+ t/month.
