- ECTS credit
- European study-load credit: 1 credit ≈ 30 hours; bachelor's = 240 credits.
- Scholarship
- Regular student payment: academic (merit) or social (family income).
- State-funded place
- Budget seats — free tuition paid by the state.
Formas y niveles
- Full-time
- Daily on-campus study — the standard form for school leavers.
- Part-time/distance
- Study without daily attendance — for working adults; same diploma.
- Junior bachelor
- 2 years after college — a shorter higher-education cycle.
- Master's
- 1.5–2 years after bachelor's — deeper or adjacent specialty.
- PhD
- 3–4 years of research — doctor of philosophy degree.
Autoeducación
- MOOC
- Massive open online courses: Coursera, edX, Prometheus — free or certified.
- Micro-credential
- Short competency certificate — stacks toward a bigger qualification.
- Lifelong learning
- Learning throughout life — education doesn't end with a diploma.
- Spaced repetition
- Memory method: reviews at growing intervals (1d → 3d → 7d → 30d).
