You can switch electricity and gas supplier — free; the grid (oblenergo/gas network) stays the same.
Procedure:
Application to the new supplier (site/office): address, EIC metering code, readings — the old supplier is notified automatically.
Timing:
Switch usually takes 21 days from filing; pay the old supplier until then.
What changes:
Only price and service; technical supply, meter, quality — unchanged.
What doesn't:
Distribution (delivery) — the grid tariff is identical for all suppliers.
Pitfalls:
Agents with 'better tariffs' may switch you without consent — never give your EIC code without deciding.
Comparison:
Compare price per kWh/m³ + terms (fixed/variable, penalties, autopay), not ads.
Return:
You can return the same way — 21 days; almost no limit on switch frequency.
