  Private farming, construction, commercial — check the SLC extract; changing use is a separate process.

• Moratorium

  Agricultural land is under a sale moratorium until liberalization; exceptions — inheritance, lease.

• Boundaries & cadastre

  Cadastral number, on-site boundaries, neighbors — geodetic survey before the deal.

• Encumbrances

  Lease, mortgage, servitude, protection zones (power lines, water) — extract from the real-property register.

Buying land without an SLC extract and boundary check is the most common scam: the 'plot' turns out to be someone else's, leased, or unbuildable.
