Who can retire before 60 and what it costs

General conditions

  • Retirement age: 60 with 30+ years of service; 63 with 20–30; 65 with 15–20
  • Early pension 'minus 1.5 years' — up to 18 months before retirement age when laid off: -0.5% per early month
  • The reduction is permanent — it does not reset at retirement age
  • Required service: men 35+, women 30+ years

Categories with earlier retirement

  • List No.1 (highly hazardous): men 50/20 yrs, women 45/15 yrs
  • List No.2 (hazardous): men 55/25 yrs, women 50/20 yrs
  • Women with 5+ children or a disabled child — age 50
  • Military — after 25 years of service (AFU pension)
  • Chernobyl victims cat. 1–2 — 5–10 years earlier
  • Severely ill (closed list) — no age limit per medical certificate

Early pension: 5 640 грн

Reduction: 6.0% (−360 грн)

The 0.5% per-month reduction applies for life. Apply via the Pension Fund or e-cabinet after leaving employment.
