GI condition diets

Diet by condition: what's allowed, what triggers flares — pick a diagnosis

Condition

Allowed: non-acidic puree soups, water-based cereals, steamed meat/fish, boiled vegetables, bananas, kissel. Forbidden: fried, spicy, sour, alcohol, carbonated, fresh bread, coffee on empty stomach. Small meals 5–6×/day.

These are orientation frames, not a doctor's prescription. With flare-ups, blood in stool, weight loss — see a gastroenterologist, not tables. Rigid diet tables still apply in hospitals; an outpatient scheme built around your triggers works better.
