Icon grid
Sizes, stroke widths and padding for icon sets
Size grid
| Size | Used for | Stroke | Inner padding |
|---|---|---|---|
| 16px | favicon, inline text icons | 1–1.5px | 1px |
| 20px | menus, compact lists | 1.5px | 2px |
| 24px | UI standard (Material/Lucide) | 1.5–2px | 2px |
| 32px | large buttons, empty states | 2px | 3px |
| 48px | onboarding, feature blocks | 2–3px | 4px |
Consistency beats the aesthetics of any single icon: same stroke, same corner radius, same optical center. Export from a vector grid — never scale raster. For retina displays SVG is the only right format.
