Programs

  • eRobota — Own Business

    Microgrants up to UAH 250k from the State Employment Service for starting/expanding a business for the unemployed. Condition — employment for 2 years and repayment on violation.

  • eRobota — processing & horticulture

    Up to UAH 8M for processing plants and up to UAH 400k/ha for orchards, berries, viticulture. 30–50% co-financing; credit history and project readiness matter.

  • Ukrainian Startup Fund

    Grants of $25k–50k for tech startups at pre-seed/seed. Competitive pitch, English deck, team and market scoring. Non-dilutive — not a loan.

  • Veteran grants

    Programs for veterans and their families: the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation 'VartO' — up to UAH 1.5M for a business. FOP/LLC registration and a business plan are required.

  • EU4Business & donors

    EU4Business, USAID, GIZ, UNDP — SME grants for equipment, export, recovery. Deadlines and terms vary — track via business.diia.gov.ua.

  • How to improve odds

    A clear itemized budget, realistic cashflow, verified costs (commercial quotes), co-financing readiness and reporting. Most rejections are for unrealistic budgets.

A grant is not «free money»: almost all programs require co-financing, designated use and reporting. Breaching the terms means repayment.
