Land-share inheritance
Documents, taxes, typical problems — what an heir needs to know
What's inherited
Ownership of the land share — certificate or a plot allocated in kind. If the share was leased — the heir also inherits the lease contract rights.
If documents are lost
The certificate is restored via village council/distribution archive; the rights certificate — duplicate at notary/registrar. State act — via the cadastre.
Share 'in common partial ownership'
Most shares are undivided fractions of a massif. The heir inherits the fraction; allocation in kind needs a separate procedure (land-management documentation).
Taxes & registration
Registration as regular inheritance: notary, 6 months, kinship-based tax (0/5/18%), rights registration in the DRRP.
Typical problems
The share is leased and the contract 'was forgotten' to reissue; the fraction is allocated but boundaries unset; multiple heirs with different lease positions.
Procedure details are in the 'Property inheritance' guide; here — share specifics: undivided fractions, active leases, restoring old documents. See also the land-lease agreement in the documents section.
