  • First actions

    Contact the unit commander (in writing), the military unit, and the TCC. Record the last contact date and circumstances.

  • Official bodies

    Coordination Headquarters for POWs, National Police (missing person report), Commissioner for persons missing under special circumstances.

  • Documents

    Applicant's passport, kinship documents, military ID, photos, description of identifying features.

  • DNA testing

    Close relatives can submit DNA samples at the police for free — data enters the identification registry.

  • Legal status & payments

    Status «missing under special circumstances» — pay is preserved for the family. Arranged via TCC with a commander's certificate.
