Manure output: cow ~55 kg/day (20 t/yr), pig ~6 kg (2.2 t), layer ~0.12 kg. Manure is fertilizer: cattle ~4.5 kg N + 1.3 P + 5 K per tonne. Composting 3–6 months reduces volume 30–40% and kills weed seeds. Application rates: fresh manure ≤40 t/ha every 2–3 years, compost up to 60 t/ha. Accumulation without disposal = environmental fine.
