CC/CV modes
- •CV (constant voltage): PSU holds U, load takes whatever current
- •CC (constant current): PSU holds I, voltage sags — protection/charging
- •Set CC limit 10–20% above expected — saves the circuit on shorts
- •Before connecting: set U and I limit WITHOUT the load
Rule #1: current limit first, then the load. Fiery circuit death is always 'why is it heating?' at unlimited current.
